This document applies when using the “Used Parts – Nupirkpigiau.lt” platform and its features.
Seller Rules
These Seller Rules supplement the Terms of Use and apply to every person or business publishing or selling an item through the platform.
**Translation notice.** This English text is provided for convenience. Where interpretation differs, the Lithuanian version prevails, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
1. Seller status
The seller must correctly state whether they act privately or as part of a business or economic activity. A seller must not use private status to avoid consumer, tax, accounting or platform obligations. The platform may request evidence and amend the displayed status.
2. Right to sell
The seller must own the item or have lawful authority to sell it. Stolen, unlawfully acquired, encumbered, counterfeit or otherwise prohibited items may not be listed. The seller must be able to provide proof of origin where reasonably requested.
3. Listing title and description
The title and description must identify the item accurately. They must not conceal defects, create false urgency, use unrelated keywords or claim compatibility that has not been verified. Material defects, missing parts, repairs and modifications must be disclosed.
4. Photographs
Photographs must show the actual item offered for sale. They must be sufficiently clear to identify condition, visible defects, codes and included components. Stock images may be used only where expressly allowed and must not mislead the buyer. Personal data and unrelated objects should be removed from photographs.
5. Condition
The seller must select the condition that best matches the item and explain wear, damage or limitations. “Excellent” or equivalent labels may be used only where the item is genuinely in such condition. The buyer must not be left to discover a known material defect after delivery.
6. Compatibility and codes
Manufacturer, model, OEM, part and serial information must be entered accurately. Compatibility should be based on reliable catalogues, manufacturer data, measurements or actual verification. Where compatibility is uncertain, the seller must state that clearly and provide dimensions or codes that allow the buyer to verify suitability.
7. Price, quantity and availability
The displayed price must be the actual item price and must include mandatory seller charges. Quantity and included components must be accurate. The seller must pause or remove a listing immediately when the item is no longer available. Duplicate listings must not be used to manipulate visibility.
8. Accepting an order
Once an order is created and payment is confirmed, the seller must supply the item described in the listing. The seller may not substitute another item without the buyer’s explicit agreement. If fulfilment is impossible, the seller must notify the platform without delay.
9. Dispatch deadline
Where a platform label is generated, the seller must hand the parcel to the carrier within the deadline shown in the order. Unless otherwise stated, the standard deadline is 24 hours from label preparation. Repeated late dispatch may reduce visibility, affect reputation or restrict selling.
10. Packaging
The seller must use packaging suitable for the item’s weight, shape and fragility. Moving parts, sharp edges, liquids and delicate components must be secured. The parcel must comply with carrier size, weight and dangerous-goods restrictions. Damage caused by inadequate packaging may be attributed to the seller.
11. Communication and payments
Transaction communication should remain on the platform. Sellers may not pressure buyers to pay outside the platform, request unnecessary personal data, send spam or use abusive language. Contact information may be exchanged only where genuinely necessary for fulfilment and permitted by the platform.
12. Disputes, returns and evidence
The seller must respond to disputes within the deadline shown and provide relevant evidence, such as photographs taken before dispatch, codes, packaging images, carrier documents or communication records. Where a return is approved, the seller must cooperate with the return process and inspect the returned item promptly.
13. Duties of business sellers
A business seller must comply with all applicable consumer, product safety, tax, accounting and distance-selling obligations. This includes providing legally required business information, issuing accounting documents where required, handling statutory withdrawal and conformity rights, and avoiding unfair commercial practices.
14. Taxes and DAC7
The seller is responsible for their own tax position, registrations, declarations and accounting. Where reporting obligations such as DAC7 apply, the seller must provide accurate tax and identity information and cooperate with verification. Missing or unreliable information may lead to restrictions or delayed payouts.
15. Moderation and sanctions
The platform may edit categorisation, request corrections, hold or remove listings, limit features, suspend payouts, lower visibility, suspend an account or report unlawful activity where justified. Repeated violations, fraud, unsafe items or circumvention may lead to permanent closure.
16. Acceptance
By publishing a listing or accepting an order, the seller confirms that they have read and will comply with these Seller Rules, the Terms of Use, the Prohibited Items Policy and all applicable laws.
