Frequently asked questions

Answers before buying or selling

How do I make sure a part fits my machinery?

The most important details are the manufacturer, exact model, part or OEM number, dimensions and mounting points. Visual similarity alone is not enough. When information is missing, contact the seller before buying and provide a photo of the existing part or machinery identification plate.

What is the difference between buying from a private seller and a business seller?

Consumer-protection rules may apply to a business seller, including statutory rights for withdrawal from a distance contract and non-conforming goods. The automatic 14-day withdrawal right generally does not apply when buying from a private seller, but the platform buyer protection and agreements between the parties still apply.

What should I do if the item does not match the listing?

Do not use, dismantle or install the item. Photograph the packaging, shipping label, entire item, codes and the specific discrepancy. Report the issue through the order or support function before the inspection deadline expires.

When must the seller dispatch the item?

The exact deadline is shown in the order. When the platform shipping label is generated and no other deadline is specified, the seller must hand the properly packaged shipment to the carrier within 24 hours.

Can I pay the seller directly?

To retain the transaction protection provided by the platform, make payments and communicate only on the platform. The platform cannot verify or protect payments or agreements made outside it.

How is my data protected?

Only information required for the transaction and listing is shown publicly. Read the privacy policy for details about processed data, retention purposes and your rights.
